ABOUT ME

I am a 19 year old Bozeman, Montana native on a gap year before pursuing my college degree. I spent the last year saving up for travel and going on small trips within my state and surrounding areas (mostly for concerts). I am currently in Oman.

I am a positive and open-minded person exploring the world before I begin college. I enjoy spending time reading, traveling and discovering new music. I also enjoy the outdoors, especially camping.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fan of Indie rock as well as 60's and 70's era music. My favorites are Arcade Fire, Fleetwood Mac, The Black Keys, Alt-J, Allman Brothers Band and Jack Johnson. I am currently working my way through Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While doing mission work in Mexico I spent a day on a reservation speaking with the native people of that area. At the end of the day they provided my fellow travelers and I with homemade tamales that they had spent the day making. Not only was it my first time eating tamales, but every person who pitched in to make them spent a whole days pay on the ingredients for them. The generosity of those who are less fortunate never ceases to amaze me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share my interests in new places with my hosts. I love going out and getting to know a new place, and how better to do it than with someone who lives there. I would also love to share about my home in Montana. I am very enthusiastic about the natural beauty of Montana and all that it has to offer!
