Overview
About Me
I love new experiences and meeting new people. Listening to peoples' life stories and connecting with strangers is always so humbling and reminds me of how vast the world is.
I’m outgoing and friendly (I'm afraid you have to take my word for it), and am up for any conversation from farts to humanity and climate change. Love food, conversations, occasional hikes, and saying yes to everything because the unexpected often make the best memories (or regrets).
Currently start training as a commercial solicitor in London :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have heard great stories from both friends who have been CS-ers and also accepted guests, and I would love to try it myself!
Would definitely love to open up my place at some point when I start work so that I can pay it forward :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't pick favourites, but I enjoy chill house vibes
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on a 3-day charity cycle from London to Paris, and had such poor balance that people thought I would win an award for Most Number of Falls.
I was on a volunteering trip to Shangri-La, China, where my team built pigsties for the local community - except we forgot to build the gates, and the dogs came in to eat the piglets at night.
Oh, did it say something amazing? ...will need to get back on that.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn about local cultures, and am happy exchange languages. I can share music skills as a piano 8th grader and a zhongruan 5th grader (it's a chinese instrument looking like a smiley face), but it's been a while so I can only share beginner tips :')
I also do a bit of bellydance at the moment so maybe we can belly roll together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cookies?
I'm happy to throw events, do housework, share stories from my hometown/travel experiences, teach basic piano, shower you with compliments (anything really!)...and if ever useful, academic research.
