I'm an adventurous person who has strong passion for traveling. I love meeting people from all over the world and learning about their culture. I like to get cultural awareness and a real-time experience of what it feels like to belong to another culture. One of my greatest passion in life besides traveling is cooking. I'm also a business oriented person.

I love being in nature, everything about the nature gives me a beautiful feeling. I love spending time for myself in the nature, admiring and immersing myself in the beauty of it. Having meaningful conversations and sharing experiences is something I always love doing. I always believe that a little kindness can go a long way, so I always try to be kind to everyone regardless of age, race, religion and culture. I believe everyone should respect each others' religion and culture regardless of your views. I love listening to people and give advice, if needed. I like to think that I have accomplished a lot in my life, but the two things which I want to try the most in my bucket list are sky diving and seeing the aurora/ northern lights.

MY PHILOSOPHY:

My philosophy in life is, "Do not fear failure, but rather fear not trying." Also, I want to be the reason someone smiles since I love seeing others happy because of something I did..if I want to change something, I would be the change I want to see in this world. Respect is something we earn, so everyone should respect each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and learn about their culture. It gives me great knowledge to learn about other cultures and makes me appreciate everything more. With traveling being my greatest passion, I love helping others make their travel experiences profound and memorable. In the end, what matters the most is the memories we make. I also love making lifetime friendships with people from all over the world, having meaningful conversations, and listening to others. Just like the old adage says, "It feels better to give than to receive." The feeling I get seeing others happy because of something I did, is priceless. I love knowledge sharing.

Interests

My interests? First thing is 'Traveling' of course. No words can describe how much I love traveling. I love going on adventures and immerse my self in the nature. My interests also include cooking and baking. Also, writing poetry is something I'm proud of. I'm also interested in having long and meaningful conversations with people from around the world and sharing knowledge. I'm always up for adventures!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading books, mostly I read books related to motivation, mindset and business. But I'm not a great fan of movies as I have better things to do rather than watching movies (sounds boring?)- But don't worry, I'm not boring, haha! However, I love watching informative documentaries mostly related to traveling, nature and wildlife. I love listening to music, be it any genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

ONE thing? Uh never mind, I want to list SEVERAL things I've done 😊

- I've seen bioluminescent plankton in the ocean. It's a very rare natural phenomenon that turns the night-time ocean into a field of glowing stars. It was magical.

- I faced my fears and I've done snorkeling in the drop-off point..seen varieties of beautiful fishes and the feeling is inexplicable.

- I did zip lining and outdoor roller coaster riding in the rainforest in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It was a very thrilling and incredible experience.

- I also rode hot air balloon in Cappadocia, Turkey. I loved the views from up above. It was an amazing experience, the scenery was mesmerizing..I saw marvelous rock formations and valleys from the top. I loved the harmony of multi-colored balloons ride in the sky with me.

- I also rode elephant, camel and horse. Camel and horses are very majestic creatures. I really enjoyed riding it on my own. Also, the elephant ride across the rivers was thrilling.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach others my language 'Dhivehi' and I love learning other languages as well. Cultural exchange is something I enjoy doing and I'm happy to share some cooking/travel tips with others. I'm also happy to teach how to cook some local delicacies. I also love to listen to travel experiences/stories of others and I love to share my experiences too.
