ABOUT ME

I'm Shazia, originally from paradise island Mauritius, living in Jönköping, Sweden for a while now. It's a relatively small city, but I am so madly in love with this country, city, and everything about Sweden. I'm passionate about my job. I'm quite interested in environment/energy and other scientific issues. Amateur photographer (No I don't have a fancy professional camera), travel freak, tv show addict... I love travelling and networking and look forward to meeting couchsurfers here and there and everywhere (: I am more accessible on Facebook so you can leave me a msg there!

I organize a lot of activities and try to make CS more alive wherever I go, and wherever I live. Also, now I am able to host :)

I am a big movie amateur and I would not be able to list movies because I watched and loved too many (:As for books, I love reading and 2 of my favorite books so far are: The Selfish Gene by R. Dawkins and House to House: An Epic Memoir of War by SSGT David BellaviaAnd music... What is life without music eh! I'm a complete addict of Trance and EDM in general (:

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A lot of things I guess...

The Thar desert (Rajasthan in India) separating Pakistan and India where I spent a week with friends discovering the desert and its inhabitants (mainly nomads).

Koh Phi Phi viewpoint where you can see the whole island. I thought it was quite breathtaking.

The view of lake Vättern when driving on the highway from Gränna to Jönköping. My favorite scenery in Sweden especially at sunset. It captivates me every time! The area is worth a visit. Beautiful view of the lake especially in summer.

Of course, Mauritius. Every time I go there for vacations and we go around sightseeing, I am always amazed by how beautiful my own country is.

There's a lot more... but I guess it's better to talk over a cup of coffee :)
