COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In general, I have had a wonderful time surfing and hosting. I've experienced everything from a private suite in a luxury apartment to a blanket on the floor, and it has all been worthwhile.

Interests

I like to hike, read, cook, try new and exotic food, and listen to music. I live in the woods and am always working on improving my "woodcraft."

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots of modern 'indie' music, synthpop, old blues, rock, funk, etc. I have a huge music collection which I am always adding to and love to share with others. One of my life goals is to read the English canon, and I've been working my way through it for years. My personal favorite is Victorian Gothic/detective fiction, but I refrain from boring people to death with it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting in a shikara on Dal Lake in Kashmir at sunset, watching swallows skim over the water to the mountains as a hundred mosques call to prayer at the same time...
