Overview
About Me
We're Shdemama - a community of about 12 people, some living in a communal way, some live in their separate houses. We have work-days were we all meet and work together projects. We also have many social meetings such as a parents and children hang-out, a sharing circle, mediation, and yoga. Once a month we have a clothing swap market.
We have a food forest that was started in 2014 and are also establishing a global dance studio. We currently host weekly contact improvisation jams.
Our kitchen is vegan and we are a non-smoking community.
We're having volunteers from all over the world, and volunteers sleep in shared areas or put a tent outside.
Staying with us is an experience , but it takes some time to adjust. That why we ask for a minimum 1 week staying with us. Additionally, we ask guests and volunteers to contribute 30 shekels a day per person to cover food expenses, which allow the abundance of great food we have, and the 24/7 free access to the kitchen.
Feel free to contact us with any question or concern you have, we like communicating!
