About Me
Hey fellow couchsurfers! I recently graduated with my Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and will be doing some traveling and exploring before starting a new job.
In celebration of finishing school, I am doing some traveling. At the moment, I’m exploring Mexico for the next month. I’ve hosted many couchsurfers over years and have met a lot of awesome people, so I’m excited to explore the couchsurfing community in other corners of the world!
After my travels, I will be settling down in the San Francisco area in Oakland, CA. I hope to return to hosting soon!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet awesome new people and hear their stories. I love helping out like-minded, travel/adventure loving people. And the best way to experience a new place is by appreciating it through a local’s eyes. I love learning about others’ perspectives!
Interests
Exploring new food, music, places--because the world is a pretty amazing place. Being outside is pretty awesome. Napping is also pretty great. Napping outside is even better. I also love to cook and brew my own beer and cider. Passionate about sustainability and the environment.
Music, Movies, and Books
Too much music to mention, but I love any good funky jams. I love to read, but wish I had the time to do so. Movies aren't my thing, but cozying up for a movie every now and again is nice (or excessively binge-watching a Netflix show).
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning about people’s passions, different cultures, and different lifestyles. I love sharing good conversations with new people and exchanging experiences and adventures. Oh and I don’t forget my couch, I like to share that too :). I also really enjoy cooking and sharing meals with others.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to share good conversation over a meal or some drinks. I really enjoy cooking for others and taking time to chat and learn about someone’s life!
