ABOUT ME
I was a sophomore at Fordham University when I decided to take time off from school to travel. I spent four months backpacking around Europe with a friend, and I have been hooked on couchsurfing ever since! I've since transferred to Tufts University, and I'm available to host travelers! I think hosting is the perfect way to give back some of the generous hospitality I was shown when I was abroad.
PHILOSOPHY
Building meaningful and intimate relationships with people is the most sustainable way to be happy. Make friends that you treat like family.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have yet to host anyone so far, but my experiences surfing have all been wonderful! I'd love the opportunity to meet fellow travelers and give them a place to stay.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My couchsurfing experiences have all been extremely positive. My hosts have been kind, generous, and tremendously interesting. They've provided me with wonderful memories of my times abroad, and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to get to know them. I think couchsurfing is the absolute best way to travel.
Interests
I love fine art photography, especially portraiture. I think it is an incredibly interactive art form that requires so much more than technical skill. It has sculpted the way I look at the world, and I'm so grateful to have found it. I've never really been very good at landscapes, but this summer I'm going to have the opportunity practice as I travel throughout the country - there are going be so many beautiful sights!
I've recently gotten very interested in neuroscience. I love the study of consciousness. It's crazy that at the most fundamental level, thinking breaks down to billions of neurons depolarizing in unison. It's kind of scary, but makes me really appreciate power of the human brain.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was couchsurfing on Lyon, France and staying in an apartment at he top of a gigantic hill that overlooked the whole city. After a rainstorm, three separate rainbows materialized in front of the apartment. It was breathtaking.
Seeing the sunrise in the Sahara and the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul was pretty cool too :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach even the most kinesthetically inept how to make an excellent origami crane. I'd like to learn more languages. I think food is the best thing to share.
