Hello, I am Sheepo, I come from Taiwan. I live in Paris from June 2017

I've lived in U.K(London) working holiday for two years. It is my first time to Europe. I’ve done a lot of works, such as waitress, sushi maker, florist assist, Mandarin teacher (I teach in French school), barista, and in-house lifestyle magazine editor.

Before, I am an editor of life style magazine/website that introduced special restaurants, cafe, nice hotels, hostels, and scenic spots.

My job is to interview the host of restaurant owner. Therefore, I have lots of chance to travel around Taiwan. I prefer to take the train because it is so slower so that I can rest and find some inner peace of mind.

I also like have a walk on the beach; hiking. I like to visit the countryside and heritages. It makes me know more about our traditional and local cultures. I especially enjoy some Taiwanese cuisines.

I am currently working in Europe as a freelance columnist and editor about gourmet, travel, and art. I wrote the reviews, and cooperated with such as restaurants, artist studios, Paris tourist office, Barcelona tourist office, London eye, The Phantom of the Opera, British Summer Time Festival, Icelandic Glacier Adventure…etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live in U.K(London) working holiday for two years. It is my first time to Europe. I work here, teach here, make friend here, and have fun here as well. London is big city, in London nobody’s alike which means that everyone fits in.

In additions, I want to meet local in Europe, I like to talk with people to know more local thing.

And also working as a traveller and freelance editor has always proven itself to be both a challenging and engaging job that I wholeheartedly enjoy doing. I would like to write down some interesting stories of people I met

One of my dream is to publish my book. I am still finding the inspiration of creation !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my school life, I major in ’’department of Radio, Television , and Film’’, my team published an independent(alternative) magazine, ‘’Jia Wen Ching’’ literally means fake artistic youth which is a new word in Taiwan to describe a group of people who care about the society, modern art and cultural issues.(The meaning is Fake literary, artistic youth), based in Taiwan focusing on art, culture, and phenomenon.

My team and I founded a live house named ‘’wolong29’’ and invited some indie bands to perform here. We also have a gallery and provide a place for artists to exhibit their works free.

I was an independent curator , and often took part in the creativity & originality market and books & creative bazaar.

I like gardening, I prefer succulent plant, because they possess exuberant vitality. I always use potted plants as decorations and design by myself to give them to my friends as gift.
