ABOUT ME

This one is a tricky one. 'About me' sections are usually a combination of how you perceive yourself to be, and who you want to be...which can be notoriously far from who you really are. :)

But here goes my attempt: witty, passionate, ambitious, hopelessly optimistic, practical, straightforward, uncomplicated (although I do admit to moments of complications!), musically inclined and impatient. I enjoy a good conversation, but terrible at small talk. Family, friendships and loyalty are the most important things in the world. I believe that what you do does not define you, but it shapes the person that you become.

Open to all kinds of possibilities and experiences.

Mostly through meeting new people in new cities and getting to know the people in the city I live in now. Unfortunately, I don't have a spare couch to host yet, but will always be up for activities together or just plain coffee with some amazing conversations to go with it!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is 'Dead Man Walking'. I first watched it years ago, and it moved me because it made me reevaluate how I feel about capital punishment and if life is as black & white as I thought it to be at the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Won a talent competition with my band at 17, got a record deal and released two albums eventually. Performed live as a professional singer for 4 years subsequently. I love music, and it was amazing while I was still doing it, but I don't think I ever want to go back to being a professional musician. Takes the fun out of things!
