About Me
Hi there!
I'm Sheila, a 23 year old youth worker, Christian, and writer. I'm friendly, responsible, and have a good sense of humour! As mentioned above, I'm finishing my degree in International Development at University of Toronto and am excited to work abroad as a development practitioner. I am a spoken word artist, and I am excited to check out different poetry slams and share some of my work with you! I enjoy the outdoors, movies, art, and good food!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm travelling for a friend's wedding and would love to make the most of my time. I live with my parents right now, so i'm not super at liberty to host, but would love to once i get my own place!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A couple years ago I organized an inner-city service trip for a mix of teens from Northern Ontario and Toronto to meet practical needs in downtown Toronto. It was five days of learning about homelessness and humility- doing really basic things to show love to people in different circumstances than we are. It was an amazing time of laughter and hard work that I'll never forget.
