Hi, I am a 36 year old woman who has spent the past 14 years in the field of education and behavior analysis. During this time I have been in and out of school. I love to experience new places and make new friends. I find myself at a time where I need to stop, slow down, and focus on my health and my family. I hope to add some time to travel during this time as well.

I've been on a Modified Atkins Diet, which is a high fat - low carb diet. I will slowly be coming off of this over the month of July. This has all been for medical reasons - we will begin the next medical stage in August, we can discuss more via email or in person if you have questions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Over the next few years I am taking time off work to spend time with my family, focus on my health, and travel. I would love to open my doors to fellow Couchsurfers and potentially be a guest in another host's home while visiting a new place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a classroom of 12 students who were all 2+ grade levels below their current level and I got each student up at least 2 grades levels in at least 1 subject across Math, Reading, or Writing in one school year.
