I have traveled a bit, but this is my first time on couchsurfing - I have usually stayed in hostels or with friends before. At home, I work at a coffee shop and enjoy cycling, making linocut prints, analog photography, seeing live music, hiking, camping, and gardening.

I love meeting people, wandering, hanging out in nature or cafes and just watching the world move around me. Learning about people, their experiences and interests and histories, is really gratifying and fascinating to me. I used to work in a hostel and really enjoyed the conversations I had with travelers. I prefer solo traveling, and the ability to be spontaneous and have unexpected adventures that goes along with it.

I'm going to be solo traveling around Europe 5 August thru 12 September 2024. Stockholm, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Berlin, Slovakia, Croatia (?), Italy. Looking for hosts and people to hang out with on this trip!

Meeting people is one of my favorite things about traveling, but the best is meeting locals and getting to know a place in a way you wouldn't if you kept to yourself. I would like to do the same for people visiting Portland!

I can teach you a little bit about photography, English of course, maybe other things I don't realize?
I love learning about pretty much anything, and would love to learn some of your language. Also particularly interested in history and architecture.
We can share a walk, some beers, play music together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am tidy and will help around the house with dishes, etc. I'm a pretty good cook and would cook if you like. I can offer good conversation (?)
