ABOUT ME

I am going to be spending June, July, and August in Rio de Janeiro at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, in Cidade Universitária, Ilha do Fundão, Rio de Janeiro. I'm excited to meet new people and explore the city. Also to find a good neighborhood to stay in for a few months!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had always meant to join couchsurfing once I had heard about it but I have mostly traveled with my family or with other friends' families so I never got around to using it. Now I'm ready to see what it brings!

兴趣

I studied psychology and anthropology in undergrad. I am really excited to be able to learn/apply those to the health/medicine field in grad school and my career. I hope to incorporate global health into my career later in life and hopefully help cure around the world. My inspiration for helping and healing others has come from my travels doing medical work in rural Honduras and to the Dominican Republic and also from opening my eyes in India. I love to learn when I travel.
