HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I spend my summers in the US and enjoy staying with various people - friends I already have as well as friends I make through CouchSurfing - to enrich my experiences.

I'm nice. I won't steal your stuff or leave the toilet seat up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

2012: I stayed in Phoenix on a couch with two little dogs. They were sweet and liked to be petted.
2013: Crashed with a new friend-for-life, who wound up taking in another friend of mine for a month after I left.

Interests

Charity work, social innovation, meditation, creating something out of nothing, pushing myself to achieve something I think is impossible. Running, yoga, doing whatever it takes to increase my shoulder mobility.

Music, Movies, and Books

How do you ask a librarian to select her favorite media? I can watch "3 idiots" (Indian Bollywood film about the meaning of life) again and again and for books, am on a Carlos Castaneda kick. China faves: Anything by Ma Jian, Zachary Mexico, or Ha Jin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stayed in one city - Shanghai - for eight years. It's mind-blowing to be invested because I've never had that before.
