I was part of Indonesia's national search and rescue team, where every day, every call, means someone's life might depend on you. That was my life…until mid of 2024, when I made a decision that felt both thrilling and terrifying.

I left behind the uniform, not to escape from my responsibility, but because I started wanting to explore more. I have a dream to travel slowly, to live fully, and to immerse myself in cultures that go beyond borders.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to rescue people in emergencies. Now, I want to “rescue” in a different way. Through Couchsurfing, I’m all about exchanging stories, sharing cultures, and showing kindness.

Because sometimes, the most meaningful “rescue” is offering someone a warm connection, a fresh perspective, or a place to feel at home, even if it’s just for a night. 💙
