I am soon to be 21 years old, and I have been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. EDS commonly affects the joints of the sufferer, resulting in severe hypermobility that leads to joint instability and frequent dislocations. However, the type I have not only affects my joints, but damages my vascular system as well. While I can deal with chronic pain from reoccurring injuries, I can't deal with the fact that I am only expected to live into my early fifties.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can't bear the idea of dying before I get to see the world, so I need to start seeing it now. My soon-to-be husband and I will be making our trips as soon as possible.
Funds are tight, but I'll make it work somehow.
