I'm just a Utah girl with a travelers mindset! I enjoy being outdoors AND being indoors...so I guess you can say I enjoy the best of both worlds!

**I will be traveling with my friend who is just as fun & fun loving as I am! We are both very energetic, animal lovers, yoga doers, kind, outdoorsy, upbeat & outgoing personalities! We are both very clean, respectful, hardworking career folks who are wanting to take this opportunity to meet new friends from all over & experience the East Coast..just NOT as touristy tourists! I will also be taking this opportunity to get some work done & have a few business meetings while I am out there!**

I have the sweetest Aussie puppy, Sir Lincoln Roosevelt, that is my main sidekick on my adventures (ONLY in Utah, he's not ready for an airplane). So, I am a HUGE animal lover! All animals have a special place in my heart...except political ones (insert cheesy winky face here).

I definitely am a sweetheart & I LOVE all people! I love meeting new people & I love my close knit friends, but I prefer friends who don't sugarcoat the truth for me (I'm not sassy..but I love sassy). I have a tendency to end my questions in "explanation marks", but I can reassure you that this does NOT mean that I am yelling...I just get really excited about life! So, if the amount of explanation marks in this description are already driving you nuts, we may not be a good fit (sadly).

I can, at times, be a little loud..but mainly when I'm having fun (skiing, hiking, playing games, hanging out in large groups). I have 3 older siblings who are very outspoken & bossy, so I know when to be loud & when to "turn down the volume". I was raised in a free spirit, manners class, hardworking, social environment/home. So I am always willing to have fun exploring...clean up after myself...help around the house...and cook (can't promise I'm a chef...I do prefer to cook vegan).

I am an organizing, clean freak within my own home...but I will never judge anyone on how they live (I have older brothers...).

I am a big time runner, skier, environment lover/saver and nutrition fanatic (Oreos are technically vegan...that makes me healthy, right?)! I am a current college student, studying Business, Finance & Marketing with the hopes of applying for Law Schools in the next year or two. I have dreams of running marathons around the world, skiing in Europe & eventually taking Sir Lincoln Roosevelt & myself back to my home country of New Zealand, where I hope to work as a lawyer & help bring BETTER benefits to my fellow Maori (indigenous people of New Zealand) brothers & sisters.

Now, if you've made it this far & you still don't care about the amount of explanation marks I've put throughout this description..then we're already off to a good start in this friendship!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, but I love to travel & NOT feel like another tourist. I want to make friends in every city, state, & country that I am able to visit...and have those friendships for years to come!

I want to experience each place from a locals perspective & I don't want to feel alone in a big city.

I'm also a poor college student, who knows how it is to travel on a penny (or half of a penny). If I can help others & be helped as well, then we're all happy campers...or COUCHSURFERS!

Music, Movies, and Books

I honestly love ALL music (minus a select few)! I grew up with a great love & appreciation of music & with the friends & family I have in my life...you can't afford to be picky with music!

I'm not much of a movie kind of gal, but my favorite movie as a child & STILL is definitely "Homeward Bound: Lost in San Francisco" (I'm an animal lover...what can I say?).

I love reading, but my all time must read is "12 years a slave" & "To Kill a Mockingbird"...both inspired me to be a lawyer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I trained my dog to high five me...it's hilarious during those perfect moments when you give the best comeback & no one is around to high five you. It adds just a little extra to every joke.

But, I also have done every hiking trail in Zion's National Park!

I can do my alphabet backwards, which is something I will ALWAYS gladly share!

But, I can teach & share with my hosts & guests a variety of things that I've learned throughout my life...vegan cooking, hair & makeup tricks, workout secrets, my culture, etc.
