Hi everyone :)!

I'm Shelby! I'm an American expat living in France right now but I have been Europe for the almost 3 years now. I'm hoping to stay across the pond long term if I can through all bureaucratic processes haha.

I lived in Spain the first two years teaching English, it was a blast but it was time for me to move on. Currently, I am doing a masters program in Bordeaux and trying to learn French mais c'est tres difficil. I recently got an internship in Copenhagen so that is my next big move!

I really love traveling and meeting new people. I really enjoy getting lost in a new city and finding those hidden gems by accident haha.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS offers the best way to experience a new city or country! You get insider information about the place you're visiting and possibly a new friend:) This is also my first time out the states and honestly, my first time actually traveling (gasp) but I am super excited to start this journey.

I haven't hosted anyone yet but I believe everyone should be able to travel so I hope to help in any way possible!
