Overview
About Me
I grew up in a small town with a stack of National Geographic magazines next to my bed and a burning desire to travel the world. I left the US for the first time in 2013 to spend a semester studying in Rwanda and since then I've been addicted to planes, trains, and automobiles. I have traveled around East Africa and spent another semester improving my German in Germany. I love the excitement of exploring a new place and meeting new people. I feel like I can make any place my home, even for just a short time.
I recently graduated with my BA in International Relations from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. I plan on taking a gap year before applying to do my graduate studies in Peace and Conflict Resolution in Europe.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Ironically, I've seen more of East Africa and Europe than I have of my own country. I want to spend the next year traveling around the USA and meeting new people.
