I'm getting ready to see the world and write about it on my travel blog. I hope to experience thousands of cultures and lifestyles. I'm easy going, honest, and outgoing. I'm up for most things, but can't do any strenuous hiking due to bad knees. I'd love to hang out with my host as much as they'd allow so I can learn of their culture, history, and their story.

I LOVE animals - so anything animal related, or if you have a pet, is absolutely welcome. I love food, but don't eat meat (except fish). I enjoy shopping, sight seeing, getting lost, finding historical sites and temples, exploring nature, taking photos, visiting hot springs, etc.

I'm a writer - I've written a few fiction books and am now focussing on my travel blog.

I want to travel the world, but as a local. I want to truly experience the cultures of a country, meet the locals, do as they do, and get off the tourist path. I want to experience a country as a native. It's my dream to make friends across the globe. I hope you'll help me!

Music-- I love classic rock, Chinese & Japanese music, folk, some pop, techno/dance

Movies -- I like comedies, horror, action/thriller, anime, 80/90s movies and more. I love movies! I'm happy with a documentary as well as a family-friendly feature. Anything really :) Favorites include Hook, Ever After, Wonder Woman, Ferris Beuler's Day Off, Pretty Woman.
