Overview
About Me
Hi Couch Surfing Community! I love to be active outdoors, drink coffee/wine and share philosophical conversations. You'll find me rock climbing, hiking, jogging, practicing yoga, reading or laughing with friends in my spare time. I enjoy staying up on current events and attempting to understand this crazy world we live in. Discussion of differing perspectives is always appreciated as your point of view helps keep my mind open and ever informed. I grew up in the Santa Cruz Mountains riding horses and playing in the dirt. Love real talk; let's not waste time on simply exchanging pleasantries about the weather.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am just about to move out of Mount Madonna Center's Yoga Community in the Santa Cruz area and into the big city. I already have a full-time position lined up working for Verve in SF and just need some places to stay until I get settled.

Music, Movies, and Books
Lord of the Rings is a go-to comfort movie for me, Pulp Fiction (Quentin Tarantino & Coen Brothers in general,) Waking Life is a great indie film, Game of Thrones (HBO in general,) Parks and Rec, Walking Dead, Stranger Things for tv entertainment.
Lately, I've been really enjoying downtempo and electro swing music.
Overall I enjoy all types of music with the exception of heavy metal. Old world, new world, jazz, folk, hip-hop, Soul, Funk, Rock, Alternative, Indie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This probably sounds kinda lame, but I got out of a 6-year relationship and jumped into a whole new way of life. Let go of my house, pets and life partner to follow my heart and dreams. And here I am taking a leap of faith to live in SF!
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been studying Holistic Health and Therapeutic Bodywork since my senior year of high school. I worked in a metaphysical crystal store for 4 years and love discussing theories and philosophies on spiritual concepts and quantum mechanics. I can geek out on anatomy and physiology and love rock climbing/ being outdoors. Living in a yoga community has opened my eyes to the big beautiful world of Eastern Philosophy and texts such as the Bhagavad Gita and Yoga Sutras.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking, cleaning, conversation, rock climbing and bodywork! I've been living in a community for a while now and am so grateful to support and share with others. I enjoy preparing meals and have no problem following that up with doing the dishes. Also love to bake and make raw desserts. I am passionate about Craniosacral Therapy and love to share bodywork with others.
