ABOUT ME

I'm a kind and easy going free spirit. I'm very passionate about traveling. I love visiting new places, meeting new people and learning new ways of life. I love laughing and having adventures.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to experience life. To participate in it. I believe that every experience happens for our own growth. We all are connected and are all on a personal journey to enlightenment, whatever form that may take. I live my life by doing things that make me happy and serve others as well. I live healthfully; putting wholesome things into my body and soul.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed throughout New Zealand last year and had the greatest experiences.
If I surf someone's couch, I'll always be very considerate, respectful, and clean. I can cook for you or just bring my own food. I never want anyone to have to go too far out of their way - sharing their space is enough! I can do dishes, buy you a drink and just share some awesome conversation.

I'm living in Colorado again and currently finishing college so am really busy. There's a possibility I'd be able to host someone but it all depends on the timing and how my roommate feels about it. Even if I can't host you, I'd be more than happy to show you around Durango and just hang out!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed through New Zealand last year and had such incredible experiences! I met the most amazing people and really gained a family through friends I made by couch surfing.

Interesses

I'm from Colorado so I am in love with the mountains and being outside. My favorite things to do are hiking, tennis, yoga and climbing trees. I'm a very creative person but film and photography are my main ways of expressing it. I'm extremely passionate about the earth and wildlife and hope to someday conserve it through wildlife filmmaking.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

After I graduated high school, I took a semester off and worked as an au pair in Italy. It was hard on me and I had to come home early, but it was such an amazing experience for me. I built this amazing relationship with three beautiful children, who I hope were impacted by me as much as I was impacted by them. What made the entire experience so amazing was that it opened up my entire world. I came way out of my comfort zone, made wonderful friends, and saw beautiful places with so much history.

I am lucky to now be able to always have a home in New Zealand. I lived there for almost 9 months and had the best time. The landscape is truly breathtaking and the people are magical. I saw an orca in the Catlins while I was there and it was so incredible.

I spent a little bit of time in Thailand after New Zealand and the entire experience was amazing, but my favorite was being able to sit and pray with Buddhist monks.

I'm gluten and lactose intolerant and extremely sensitive to sugar so I've learned a lot about wholesome eating, cooking and living over the past few years and would love to share my knowledge and learn more recipes too!

I'm really into photography but definitely still have a LOT to learn. I'm more into filmmaking, but definitely also have lots to learn about cameras and everything else that comes with it.

I speak French (although not as well as I used to) and would love to be able to converse with someone in French! Or any other language really.

I'm also a very spiritual person. I don't accept any organized religion but take concepts from a variety of them and love learning about others' beliefs, religions and opinions.

Always up to learn a new skill, new languages, new activities.
