About Me
CURRENT MISSION
First trip where I couchsurf.....LET'S GET THOSE GOOD VIBES GOIN!
ABOUT ME
ALL about me? But this box is so tiny and I feel so big!
I love to learn. Everything. I don't get why being a jack of all trades is generally considered a bad thing? If I partially know how to change my oil it's still better then no knowledge of basic car maintenance. And SURE, I could become the MASTER of oil changes...but then I probably wouldn't have time to play my ukulele ( which I am also adequate at! ). I'm trying to explain my life philosophy here. Follow your heart. Don't stay at a job you hate, don't hang out with people you don't like and don't waste your waistline on bad food!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted friends and friends of friends in an unofficial capacity. I'm excited to start using this website more.
Interests
History! I like all stories in general. And that includes hearing them from strangers and telling some of my own!
I'm hiker/trekker/rock climber.
I have a big family that I love spending time with.
I love going on adventures and seeing all the amazing things this world and its people have to offer.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love film. Of all kinds. Engaging documentaries, Hollywood Classics, Bollywood, Spaghetti Westerns, Buddy Cop, Murder Mystery. For reals. All kinds.
I love books. Of all kinds. Especially non fiction adventure and travel. And I love audiobooks and I'm not ashamed! Because having a book read to you on a long drive is delightful
Music: I'm really in to Bluegrass and Folk right now, but living in Atlanta I've also developed a healthy appreciate for hip-hop.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Annapurna Circuit in Nepal. Woke up every day and got to just walk in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. High point (literally and emotionally) was the Thorong La pass at 17,700'.
Getting to work on a very big budget film and designing my first prop. It was just a silly little sign. But when I got to see something that I created, that I contributed to the story line, on a monitor that would soon be on the big screen, it made me feel SO lucky to have a career that I get so much joy out of.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm the co-director for a children's film camp called Outlast. We bring film equipment and education to under-served communities with the hopes of bring more diverse storytellers into film and media. Check us out at OutlastFilmCamp.com!
