About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am trying to find a place to stay in Portland for a couple days while I get my Wilderness First Responder Certification!
ABOUT ME
Woo..well this is awkward! I am not a fan of filling in "about me" sections. I don't know how to talk about myself casually....
PHILOSOPHY
Always bring up the things we are told never to talk about "around the dinner table" or when meeting people : politics, religion, money, SES (socio economic status), and sex :)
Philosophy: don't pull your fellow crabs down to try to get yourself out of the boiling pot of water
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
ooo...not sure what this question is...but I like this idea.
I take this as how I participate in my community....
Well I am taking a little sabbatical from activism to re-focus my energy on taking care of my health. I was very involved at the UCSD Food Co-op and the UCSD Public Education coalition and the beginnings of the California State-wide Student Union.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None!
Well...at least not through this site!
Interests
Studying human behavior (User Interface and Information Architecture Design)
Studying neuroscience (ADD, Mirror Neurons, Autism, Schizophrenia, Bi-Polar)
Studying Iyengar Yoga
Studying Dance (currently Contact Imrpovisation)
Studying Music (Editing and Production)
Working at the Calit2 Art Gallery
Working at UCSD Outback Adventures
in my free time I diddle and dabble with photography, guitar, and rock-climbing (and the occasional surfing (the ocean, not couches)) :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Far too many to list. You will just have to find out when you meet me!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I will have to come back to this.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmmm...well I would like to learn how to play more instruments (top of my list is the cello), I would like to learn more about political theory and history in general (I know that is extremely vague and covers a mass amount of information), I would like to know more about DIY sustainable urban living, intentional communities, and anything else that you have been exposed to or have knowledge of that I can learn from!
