Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the world's oceans and seas and make friends along the way.
ABOUT ME
Carpe Diem. And PM. I only like making daily goals. I always smell the roses, and some of my best friends are bums. If you have a story to tell, I got a good pair of ears. No matter who you are or how dirty/deranged you may be, I'll show you love and give you a sincere smile and one of the best hugs you'll ever have. Fear propels me forward. I play in the dirt and kiss frogs. My only cherished possession is my mind.
I love learning and teaching and I want to travel and meet the world.
PHILOSOPHY
In accordance with the Arrow of Time and the Second Law of Thermodynamics, I am happily and constantly moving forward in to a more chaotic and disordered state :)
When choosing between two evils, I always choose the one I haven't tried before.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: David Sedaris, A People's History of the US, Perfectly Legal, On the Road, From Eternity to Here, Brother's Karamozov, The Idiot
Silent films at Drive-In Movies; I can't stand television.
The music in my head is louder than the stereo...usually. :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was the first woman to be an underwater Gold Miner under the frozen Arctic Sea for Discovery Channel's 'Bering Sea Gold.'
Teach, Learn, Share
An old Cherokee was teaching his grandchildren about life. He said to them, "A battle is raging inside me ... it is a terrible fight between two wolves. One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The old man fixed the children with a firm stare. "This same fight is going on inside you, and inside every other person, too."
They thought about it for a minute and then one child asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"
The old Cherokee replied: "The one you feed."
