About Me
Hello. I’m Sheldon Pereira.
I am working in consumer qualitymanagement department for an FMCG industry in Hamburg since 2014.
My background:
When it comes to my heritage, I'm more of an alien on this planet than a human due to the colourful multi-cultural background i'm bestowed. I'm portuguese as I was born in Goa, India, but my family moved to Ireland as I was just entering my teenage years.
I was schooled in Ireland, where I also successfully completed my B.Sc. However, Ireland being a nice place was not the place I wanted to be as an young adult. I wanted a challenging environment, discover new things, get to know new people. So, I decided to move to Bremen, Germany, where I finished my M.Sc. in Industrial & Applied Biology.
I would have never thought I would fall in love with the city. At the age of 22 with no previous German language skill & no friends, I was lucky to find in the first few months friends whom I can call today my most trustworthy treasure. I've learnt German, although, I am not native speaker, I can speak, write, listen and understand, which is as close as I can get to a native speaker, I believe. Plus, I got my C1 certificate, which qualifies me to be native German speaker :D
I was lucky enough to receive various opportunities here and there before getting an offer I couldn't refuse to work for my present company, which was great as it meant, I did not had to leave Bremen or Germany in general.
I'm a talkative, fun-loving person who loves to meet new people, to laugh, and to have good conversations and find out more about the people around me. I am curious and a bit cheeky and I can be both outgoing and shy. I love being around my friends, exploring the city, partying and spending time outside (at the lake, having bbqs etc). I love travelling and want to see as much of the world as possible.
That's as short as it gets. Anything more you would like to know, please contact me personally.
