About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get to know the world, its cultures, its languages and its accents, its foods, its histories...

ABOUT ME

After being a federal public servant for almost 3 years, I started my postgraduate studies (Masters degree) in Political science. I should finish by January 2013, and then who knows ?

PHILOSOPHY

One word: Balance. Équilibre as we say in French.

I think it says it all. Drop me a line if you want to talk about it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I just want to spend some time with interesting travelers or Montrealers, maybe have a drink or a meal and show around my beautiful city.

But I'm sure I will be available soon for Couchsurfing myself, especially when I'll have both money and time to enjoy it abroad.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None for now, but I hope that will change soon...

Interests

- Politics (Quebec, Canada, United States, Europe, International... I'm a politics-addict !)and news. I love to debate on pretty much everything: Media, public policy, culture and art, economy, etc.

- Foreign languages and cultures. Teach mine and learn others'

- Sport, especially (ice) hockey (I'm more of a couch-potato though...;-)

- Cinema, my passion besides my field of study.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like thrillers or polars with political, historical or criminal features, as well as biographies. But first and foremost political or social sciences essays.

But movies are definitely one of my passions. I especially like historical movies. Foreign movies (especially European) are my favorites, even if I enjoy a big fat American blockbuster once in a while, like everyone else..;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When in Morocco, I attended the Aid-el-Kebir holiday and ceremony in the actual home of a real Moroccan family, as if I was part of it. Quite impressing and very special experience for a Westerner like me. Will remember it all my lifetime.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you around and introduce you to my culture and the specifics of my language. I want to learn about yours.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Morocco, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
