About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to learn, to create, to connect... and have fun!

ABOUT ME

i love to learn about the world by meeting people, i love skill sharing, little and big adventures, music, making good veg food, art, good conversations, yoga, meditation, beautiful walks and riding my bike! tea reigns supreme in my world. recently i've learnt how to make felt and thing it's seriously incredible! this year i've been learning french and would love chances to practice it and keep learning. i know a bit of hebrew and would love to build on my (very very minimal) skills. i just retured home from 6 months of incredible travel and through CS met so many amazing wonderful people that i learned from and shared so many experiences with! think it'll be really great to meet CSers visiting my city now :)

PHILOSOPHY

be kind! smile lots.

Interests

As an artist, I really enjoy finding out about all kinds of creative things. Seeing what other people do and learning how to do new things myself. I love going to galleries, museums and different artists' studios. I love people watching and exploring different parts of new cities and my own!

As my dad is a musician, i've grown up with a healthy love of music. I've always been surrounded with diverse styles so really love listening to music and finding new things!

Spending time with people and learning from and sharing with others is the greatest. I'm into things like communal cooking, skill trade, bartering, long conversations, experiencing different rituals (from different streams of my own culture: judaism, and other cultures), festivals, lock ins (working in a studio with different artists towards a deadline - no leaving till your work is done!! - fun!), bush walking, camping, COUCHSURFING!!, growing (and then sharing) vegetables, bike riding, sewing, hair cutting, feeling like a minority in a new place, learning words in a new language, good podcasts, listening, people watching, sustainability (trying to keep my environmental footprint small), meeting and learning about you and what you do!

...and so much more.

Teach, Learn, Share

I do bartering when i can, I love to cut people's hair, repair clothes, I love to paint people's faces too. In Melbourne I've done quite a bit of art teaching, so let me know if there's something you'd like to learn how to do. Maybe I can teach you some cool skills!

In Melbourne, I run litte events called "Draw It Like You Mean It" - they are little drawing parties. I'd LOVE to do these while I'm travelling!

My beautiful friend Asher has taught me an incredible meditative practice called Energy Network. It is a 5 stage dynamic meditation which uses movement and voice. I love to participate in and lead Energy Network Workshops. I feel like a shining light afterwards. It works best with a small group of people (5-15). I really hope I can run some workshops for you! It's so so much fun!!

Also, I speak a little French and a little bit of Hebrew. I'd really like to learn more of each of these languages! Or if you need a few basic phrases, I could teach some to you :)
