Hi there! I grew up in South Africa and have been living, working and traveling in Asia for the last 5 years. My home base is in South Korea where I study yoga and Ayurveda healing alchemy. I also teach yoga and English.

In my free time I enjoy a quiet life. I love to read about various world philosophies, to cook delicious yet simple plant-based meals, practice meditation in everyday activities and get outdoors as often as possible.

Sometimes I'm also inspired to draw and write :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've had a couchsurfing profile for years but honestly, I'm pretty new to Couchsurfing! My habit when I travel is to stay at hostels, but now I'd like to open myself up to meeting different people and having new experiences.

I believe that there is always something new for me to learn from the people I meet and that I also have many things that I can share :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done quite a few amazing things, but the most recent was attending Africa Burn on my trip back home. Actually just being back home after 2 years away was overall really incredible. There's really no place like home ♡

Another trip still vivid in my memory is my trip to Mongolia where I spent 2 weeks out in the countryside including three nights on horseback traveling through the Khangai Mountains, with only 3 showers, 100 incredible views and countless thoughts of gratitude.
