I am an easy-going person with a passion for travel and experiencing all the world has to offer. Ever since I was little, I have dreamed about travelling the world and jumping from country to country, participating in things only I could envision in my mind.
In January 2012, I finally plucked the coverage to make my dreams come and travel the world. So in good tradition, I quit my job, sold my things, and decided to live out of a backpack.
So a little about me, I love to explore new places, and I usually am very willing to try most experiences, except jumping out of a plane.. but I think with a bit of encouragement I would be willing! I love to meet new people; I don't take things too seriously.
I love to explore old buildings, learn the history of a new place, love quirky little fun facts, and love the water - whether that be the ocean, a lake, or even a pool. I am the ultimate glutton and love food, wine, beer, and candy.
My goal in life is to know that when I am 80 years old, and I look back on my life, I don't regret an opportunity I passed off. I believe in living each day to the fullest, living like tomorrow may never come, and going to bed exhausted.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I started using CouchSurfing as a travel guide and to meet travellers in my city; however, it quickly fueled my passion for travel. Before I knew it, I was travelling from couch to couch.
My travel experience with CouchSurfing has been incredible. It's been such a fantastic experience to explore someone else city and see them light up when they get to show off their favourite places.
I've never liked to travel the traditional way and prefer to get off the beaten track, immerse myself in the culture.
Since meeting my partner (non-CouchSurfer), I've not been as involved with CouchSurfing, but looking to meet a few people and ease him into the experience of CouchSurfing. I am hoping I can calm him down enough to start hosting people.
