I'm a Jamaican - American who lives in Oslo, Norway. I moved here 10 years ago, and love living in Europe because of the close proximity to other exotic locations.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only couch surfed once in Prague, Czech Republic. Couch surfing is a different experience from hostelling and or staying in backpacker hotels. I haven't done it enough to decide whether it's 100% for me, but the prospect of hanging out with a local who can show/tell you the ins and outs of their city is definitely a bonus of the couch surfing experience! I stayed in Italy years ago with two lovely girls I had as pen pals for years. When I finally met them they didn't feel like "strangers", but like old friends (which they indeed were!:). I hope to have the same feeling with any future hosts and surfers of my own couch/mattress.

兴趣

Filmmaking is my adsolute passion. I work as a producer, but even when it's driving me half mad it doesn't really feel like work because I'm labouring at something I love. Travelling is my second passion. I love seeing other countries and immersing myself into a new culture. I love meeting new people and being inspired by them. I also love to read and eat good food! And I'm a serious sucker for adventure sports and some real nice, sexy shoes! haha

Just having the opportunity to travel and see a bit of the world is amazing and a privilege. I realize so many people in the world will not have this opportunity and I am humbled by it!

You don't have to be involved in filmmaking yourself, but if you like films we could have a few interesting convos about our favs and if you'd one day like to travel to Jamaica I'll hook you up! Jamaica is 100% best enjoyed with a local to show you the ropes. :)
