Interests

Put me outside and I'm happy, the hotter the better. I love the ocean, traveling, hiking, backpacking, gardening, and a mid-day cocktail.
I'm fascinated by disease. Virology, bacteriology, epidemiology, global health, and infectious diseases.
I love reading. I read everything I can get my hands on (besides romance novels). I love art and photography. I'm not very good at it, but I love what other peoples can do!
I love food, especially when it is delicious. I enjoy cooking or having someone cook for me while I hangout in the kitchen with a glass of wine, shooting the shit. I eat just about anything although recently I realized I don't much care for cow skin or chicken feet. Something about it just doesn't seem right.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming with a pod of whale sharks in the gulf of Mexico, the bio-luminescent bay of Puerto Rico, the sunrise in Ha long bay, and the assault on your senses of West Africa.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught people how to crochet and knit, how to have a green thumb, how to cook, how to clean proper, and how to take tequila shots. I also use to tutor in math. I like learning more than teaching, so if you got something that I don't know, send it my way.
