About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet amazing new folks and understand the world a little better.
ABOUT ME
Its very hard describing myself.. I love traveling and have sacrificed a lot to explore the globe. I love music, reading and groovy times. Most of all I love getting to know people especially when accompanied by beer :-D
I have worked ever since I finished high school. I attempted university twice but never got into the rhythm of it... I have worked a variety of jobs such as Patient Services on a maternity ward to bar tending at a strip club. My dream job would be to own a very small bar that would NOT charge $12 for beer! OR to work for VICE!
My friends think I'm crazy for meeting people over the internet and sleeping on random couches, but I have never once regretted it.
I tend to travel by myself but I don't really ever get lonely. Having alone time is important to me.
PHILOSOPHY
'Its better to regret something you have done than to regret something you haven't done.'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have joined with the Couchsurfing crew to mainly meet new people from a completely new continent and get to know the local way of life. I'm always searching for new and exciting experiences, you only live once so its important you don't let time slip away from you. I like meeting people who I wouldn't other wise meet just by staying in Perth.....
If my schedule is not too busy I would love to take you out and show you Perth :-)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading. Right now I am really getting into Japanese authors like Haruki Murakami and Natsuo Kirino. They have a style which is easy to read but not necessarily easy to understand, they really make you think!
Music wise I dig almost anything! I have recently discovered the Seatbelts who did the music to Cowboy Bebop (one of the coolest animes ever!). I love jazz, 90's alternative and a little bit of metal here and there. I have dabbled in playing flute and bass guitar.
I like foreign movies. I don't particularly enjoy current Hollywood movies (pardon me if you disagree) I feel they have lost touch with reality and portray a naive, sappy sort of world. However if a movie is purposefully terrible i.e The Room or Japanese gory horror then you have my full attention!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My job on maternity/labour ward allows me to see things most of you will only see a few times in your life. Lets just say I'm the person who cleans up after the birth is over. It gets messy.... But new life is an amazing thing to behold.
Also working in a strip club has had given me many a story to tell.
I am also half Filipino, my mother is from the Philippines and my father is Australian. My mum is from a small island village south of Manila. Getting there is not easy or safe and village life is incredibly different to city life. Experiencing village life is one of the most amazing things I have done/seen.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn how to cook, cooking is something that I love and I would like to know how to cook local cuisines.
I have completed a TEFL course and can officially teach English overseas. So if you're having difficulty with your English I would love to help you out.
Something I can share with you are good times and a bluddy good hangover :-D
