About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet new people and make this world a better place.
ABOUT ME
I am getting my PhD in sociology, and my husband Johnny is making people's lives brighter at Trader Joe's. We love visiting with all kinds of people, and enjoy road-tripping when we get the chance to travel. I've lived in Illinois, South Carolina, California, Florida, and Texas. And now my home is Kentucky!
PHILOSOPHY
To enjoy the people and places that I find myself with in my life, and to help make the world a little bit better for those I impact through my work.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I love the opportunity to connect with people from the couchsurfing community. I have only had a couple experiences so far, but they have been fantastic. It is truly a privilege to get to know people in this network.
Interests
Being outdoors and taking a walk in nature is really refreshing and lovely to me. I grow as many plants as I can fit in my little garden. I love having a pot of tea in the afternoon. I also really enjoy cooking and exploring different kinds of food and local restaurants. After a long day, I enjoy unwinding by writing songs and playing the guitar or piano.

Teach, Learn, Share
I study sociology and feel deeply about the importance of understanding how people are affected by social structures - like the ideas we share about gender and race, or the economic structures that shape how we do work. I have taught classes about this, and I'm pretty much down to talk about it anytime anywhere.
