ABOUT ME

probably my best friends might say: he knows a lot and he knows he knows a lot, he has an opinion about almost everything and loves to discuss it (which eventually can also become pretty annoying...)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in God, but I'm not very religious.
I think if everybody tried to leave the planet a little bit better than he found it, we'd have a much better world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far only by occasional hosting and surfing whenever I travel (the latter sadly being far too seldom at the moment...)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first and most interesting CouchSurfing experience I made before I knew about CouchSurfing. Visiting Hradec Kralove in Czech Republic with a friend, we met some people who told us to move out of the hostel and stay with them instead of paying for night, so we spent there almost one week. For me CouchSurfing.com is just a more organized way to plan stuff like that in advance...

Teach, Learn, Share

Could teach you how to mix a proper martini, how to open a beer bottle with any object (I love "MacGyvering" whenever I have the possibility), some words in many languages, basic and a bit more advanced computer stuff, basic guitar riffs and by now also how to change a baby's nappy...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a quite decent cook, a very good listener and problem solver and skilled in repairing basic stuff (as long as I have the needed tools) and in fixing minor computer problems. Also I often travel with my guitar and I love to sing.
And of course I could bring you some of the famous Swiss chocolate and/or cheese...
