ABOUT ME

I am a 22 year old Junior at the University of Massachusetts studying Geography and Spanish. Mi idioma original es Engles pero quiero aprender Español tambíen. Ahora estudio en un programa de intercambio en San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina hasta el fin de Junio. Vení a Argentina para conocer a una cultura nueva, mejorar mi español y viajar en Patagonia.
Me considero un persona abierto y positivo. Me gusta hacer lo mejor de cualquier situación y no necesito mucho para ser feliz. Tengo ganas de vivir en Latino America cuando termino con escuela pero antes quiero viajar.

PHILOSOPHY

I basically believe that if you respect the world around you, you in turn will be respected. Every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect regardless of ethnicity or culture. I believe that everyone I meet has something to teach me and by accepting their personal philosophies and creeds I can better myself as a person and ensure that my time on this Earth will not be wasted.

I don't have any couch surfing experience but I'm very easy going, polite and neat.

Intereses

Mis intereses incluyen viajando (por supuesto!), trekking, camping, esquiando, pescando, nadando, navigando por vuelo y kayak, rugby, buena música, climbing, haciendo parilla y conociendo a nueva gente y cultura.
En mi tiempo libre me gusta quedar en el aire libre con amigos, guitaras y fagotas.

Música, películas y libros

Kurt Vonnegut is my favorite author currently. Some of my other favorites include Kormac Mcarthy, Paul Theroux and Tim O'Brien.
My favorite movies include The Usual Suspects, The Departed, The Graduate, Momento, Being John Malkavitch, The Best Exotic Merigold Hotel, El Secreto de Sus Ojos and many others.
As far as music is concerned, I dabble in all genres and can appreciate any musical artist so long as they are genuine in their craft. My favorite band is probably Portugal, the Man but that is subject to change.

Algo increíble que he hecho

The most amazing thing I have done was hike the Appalachian Trail. Every single day I was becoming more and more aware of myself and my place in the world. The people I encountered out there showed me generosity and respect simply because I was hiking. This community seems similar only on a global scale and I can't wait to meet people here!
