I like to have fun and see the world experience new people and ideas. I always try to make the world a better place. I'm an American but I've spent nearly all of my life overseas.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to help travelers navigate through DRC since it's not an easy place to visit. Also want to host people in beautiful Zambia!

Interests

I love meeting new people and just hanging out. I'm an avid reader and love new ideas and history. Anything about Africa grabs my attention. I'm a coffee addict and love a good glass of wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Guns, Germs and Steel, When a Crocodile Eats the Sun, Untapped, Kind Leopold's Ghost, Generous Justice, and Half the Sky are among my favorite books. I love comedies and inspiration stories with an occasional breath taking thriller or exciting action movie. I love music that makes you happy or makes you re-experience something powerful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bunji jumped from Victoria Falls, White water rafted the Nile, and I've seen Mt Kilimanjaro!
