ABOUT ME

Hey! I'm Sheri and I'm super excited to meet new people. My friends describe me as lively, spontaneous, and carefree. I'm really good at connecting with people and making them feel a part of whatever is going on. I'm passionate about life and think everyone should live it to the fullest. You only live once and should never have any regrets. I'm the girl who can be seen talking to strangers at parties and I'm the one people go to in order to make plans. I'm always up for new things and will be the first to suggest a new activity.

I grew up in a small city in upstate NY, but I've always held an interest in traveling. Since I was a little, I've had pictures of the world pasted all over my walls and now I'm collecting flags from every country I visit. I moved to Washington to go to school and I'm so happy I have the chance to network with people from all around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

You only live once, so I try to make the most of my experiences. I work hard, but play hard too. Everyone has to make the right choices for them so I support decisions and hold no judgment.

I have an open couch and a willing heart. My room isn't huge, but there's definitely space for a person who needs a place to crash and wants to have fun.

My friend introduced me to CouchSurfing and I met some of the guys she hosted. It was awesome and I'm really excited to try it.

Interessen

I've always taken an interest in people in general. Its so enthralling to talk to people and learn about other ways of life. I love being on the water. My perfect morning would be spent rowing a double with my best friend on the Potomac River during sunrise. Of course, I can't always be on the water, but I love to dance and wander around the city. There's always something to see that hasn't been seen.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Stepping off the plane in Barcelona was probably one of the most influential experiences of my life. I'd never traveled alone before and never had a practical chance to practice my language skills. Living alone for a month in Europe truly exposed me to the world and completely changed my perspective on life.
