ABOUT ME

I'm a true Sagittarius and a wanderer/explorer at heart and love to travel!

Even though I'm a native New Yorker, I still get lost and haven't discovered all this city has to offer, definitely makes it unique.

I'm an artist and love to create! I also do stand-up comedy, and love to make people laugh:)
I'm a music lover and especially into the 80's--music, style, etc, and have my own CHEROC'S AWESOME 80'S SHOW! on NewtownRadio.com, an online radio station.

I LOVE to travel (on a budget, since I'm not a millionaire yet, that's why we're here right?:) and was lucky to live in Florence, Italy for a year studying abroad (fashion design) and traveled throughout the country! Also have been to Paris, Morocco, London, St.Thomas, and went to Ireland last year for a friends wedding and Couchsurfed with some awesome people in Dublin.

Definitely a GREAT experience and I want MORE:)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Introducing travelers to not the usual 'tourist' traps in NYC and Brooklyn. We can grab a coffee (or a pint) and I'll show you Alphabet City bars, cool bands and comedy on Bleecker street, or checkout Williamsburg in Brooklyn (or cooler yet Park Slope).
Also, I'm Couchsurfing to new destinations seeing new sites.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled to Ireland last year (2009), and Couchsurfed with some awesome people in Dublin! It was great to see that this site could really set me up with cool people, a place to stay, and best part: for FREE!! It was a great experience and definitely want to Surf again:)
