About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see, explore, expierence, and do as much as I can while I still can. Carpe Diem.

PHILOSOPHY

"Living the dream." To try to live my life on the edge of what I think might actually be possible, even if it might be far from the edge of conventional.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

...have all been great. From friends, to people I've met here, to a guy I met traveling through my town who took me up on my offer to 'just crash at my place if he wanted.' I've spent many nights on other people's couches who have been really inspiring in ways they've redefined what I thought I know about hospitality.

Interests

Having as much fun as possible by any means necessary. Climbing, being outside, good conversations, traveling/exploring, drinking good brews, meeting fun people, running (to and away), playing, observing, avoiding a real job/real life, etc. Generally, I just try to have a good time with whatever I'm doing, but if I were to choose what that would be, it would probably involve being outside and up in the mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books

Yes... As much as I enjoy people, sometimes it's really nice just to sit back and listen to some really good music. I especially like acoustic guitar, but I especially enjoy being exposed to new music or things I haven't heard or seen before. I enjoy watching movies with friends, but I seldom make the effort to see films by myself. I really appreciate when something's well done, but I'm constantly disappoited by the mainstream. I read whenever I find the time (great traveling pass time), but I find the time far too infrequently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a guy put a 5 inch (15cm) nail all the way into his nose and pull it back out again... and maybe that's not the most amazing thing I've seen, but I feel like people in that sort of business are under appreciated.

Teach, Learn, Share

I still believe that on the grand scale, people are generally good, and everyone would be worth meeting if one had the time. With so many ways you can travel, one should find a way to meet and share with people along the way.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Cambodia, France, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
