Overview
About Me
I really love getting to know people. I unfortunately can’t host due to my living situation, but I would love to meet up and show you around! I've had wonderful experiences being hosted in Europe as well as meeting travellers who came to Belfast, where I was previously based.
I’ve been back in Malaysia since August 2017 and am now permanently based here, so do let me know if you’re in Malaysia.
I’ll be travelling for the next couple of months (August-September 2018) in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand! Hit me up if you're around, I’d love to hang! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
People, stories and new perspectives. I find I learn the most about a country by talking to its people.
Interests
Reading, travelling, hiking, whitewater rafting, history and politics. I hope to be a human rights lawyer one day. I love the countryside and I am my happiest self on top of a mountain.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: It varies but generally stuff from the 80’s- early 00’s. I love bands (think Westlife, The Script etc) and Ed Sheeran, Kodaline type music. I also love Irish trad music since discovering it in Belfast. Someone teach me to play the tin whistle!
Movies: Anything except horror, really. Particularly sappy romantic comedies, such as Me Before You and The Best of Me, some of my all-time faves. Also a die-hard LOTR/Hobbit fan. I’ve yet to read the books though (yes I’m ashamed of myself too). Favourite all-time actor is possibly Robin Williams and I have the hugest crush on Sam Claflin.
Books: I really think I am the sum of all the books I've read growing up. Some of my favourites include The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Shopaholic Series, To Kill a Mockingbird and The Prisoner of Zenda. I recently started getting into historical fiction and non-fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ran my first full 42km marathon with no training. I took 7 torturous hours to complete it though.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach any of the languages I speak, if you’re interested. Always chasing new experiences. Interested to try pretty much everything.
