Overview
About Me
I currently live in a super small town in New Mexico in the United States. (No I didn’t vote for Trump). I teach photography, graphic design, art, and yearbook.
I love to travel, learn about new cultures, and visit architecture that I studied in college. I take students on international trips each summer because I believe it’s important for them to learn about things outside of our town. (And that there is so much more to life)
I love going to pop punk and heavy shows. I used to dabble playing music throughout my life, though I’m way out of practice. My main sport is snowboarding, but I’m hoping to learn how to surf on my travels.
I don’t take myself too seriously and enjoy having a good time, but can be a little shy at first.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new, eccentric people, learning from them and their culture, and taking on a different perspective of my travels.
Interests
I'm passionate about almost all outdoor activities--snowboarding, backpacking, hiking, camping, cross country and downhill mountain biking, white water rafting, and rock climbing to name a few.
I'm a lover of the arts and architecture and could talk your ear off about the things I’m interested in, given the chance.
I used to bartend, so I can make some mean cocktails.
