About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Studies. CURRENTLY LIVING in BOGOTA, COLOMBIA. Back in Cologne area in April 2018!
ABOUT ME
I am empathetic, I guess, like to talk, meet people, socialise quickly, like to try out new things, can be funny at times, but also very serious at other times,I can get grumpy when I get cold, I love to eat good food and sometimes bad food as well haha, I'm a dweller, I'm self-reflecting and easy going.
Also I'm well organised, a bit too tidy for my housemates, and always energetic to get my sh.t done.
Love hanging out with people that get me active as it's much more fun together and I feel watching Tv and sitting at home can be such a waste of time.
Absolutely love listening to music.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Little experience so far. Im still in my exam phase so would prefer to host Independent travellers for now. Please be patient with me and replying as I am studying a lot.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Once in Berlin with a wild bunch of south americans.
Interests
Well here is a short list for now :
Meeting interesting and new people and conversing with them about god and the world until 4am.
Speak foreign languages and meet different cultures.
Pretend I am not german.
Travel.
Read. Sometimes at least.
Dance and go out.
Hang out with ppl that get me active.
Cook. And even more important:
Eat. I love food. I am one of those people that gets all excited about the fluffiness and looks of my dessert, I can't help it.
Listen to my fav music and just close my eyes (yeah sounds cheesy, I know..)
Talk (to strangers).
Handcraft stuff and read books when I have time.
Practice spanish with Rosetta Stone and Duolingo.
Hang out in a park or take a walk in a forest when city life is getting too much.
Watch series when I feel it is time for a lazy bum day.
I def need to update this even though all is still true. Right now, I am constantly listening to some kind of music and can also talk about details of a song when I find someone who likes the same sounds as me.
I am very keen to learn new things, make new experiences and therefore great memories. I think that's the reason why (except if I am very exhausted or tired) you will always find me do something.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a lot into electronic music recently and Cologne is a great place for this scene and going out.
I adore Flume (if you do as well you already are one foot in my house), I listen to Odesza, Hermitude, Golden Features, Deadmau5, What So Not, Glass Animals, the XX and so on.
Also do wanna watch more movies as I am lagging behind with this topic whenever the conversation brings it up.
What I read last:
Siegfried Lenz: Deutschstunde
Ishmael: An Adventure of the Mind and Soul by Daniel Quinn
Bram Stoker: Dracula
Raphael Fellmer: Glücklich ohne Geld (Happy without money)
Finding your element (Ken Robinson)
The China Study (T. Campvell)
Die Schachnovelle
What I'm reading right now:
Train spotting
Thinking, fast and Slow (Daniel Khaneman) ...but I never finish it.
this list needs to be updated soon
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The best thing I've decided to do was to take my backpack and leave for Australia, I would not make this undone, it has definitely changed me and I guess it helped see beyond the horizon of everyday life and stupid everyday sorrows. I've met awesome ppl and in fact it just encouraged me to travel more and meet more people.
If you ask me wether you should travel or not Id always say yes.
Teach, Learn, Share
If I had all the time on earth, I'd try and learn heaps of languages, become a chef, study psychology, social work and medicine, I'd travel non-stop, read a book every month, learn karate, become a dive and skiing instructor, learn to dance ballet, jazz dance and hip hop, practice yoga every day, be a wing-woman, open up a vegetarian-vegan restaurant and bakery, have a bar and be all cool with throwing around those bottles while mixing up a special cocktail ... and so forth.
I personally could help you practice your english, french and german skills and also teach you the basic salsa step.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cologne carnival
Important to note: if I do party it will be probably electronic so if you don't like this music I might not be the best choice for you.
CURRENTLY:
I will have my bf stayin at my house for the coming months so would rather be up for meeting up and showing around cologne or try out new cool places like restaurants, clubs, bars, flea markets, museums - that kind of thing.
