I'm from Singapore, completed my bachelor's at UC Berkeley where I studied economics and city planning, master's at the LSE where I studied operations research, and now work as a property market analyst. I'm interested in sustainable development and am keen to apply statistics and programming in that field.

I find travelling as enjoyable as it is enlightening. While I'm up for any local experience, I most enjoy physical activities and cultural immersion. A perfect vacation would feature good local food, beach runs or nature hikes, and trips to a museum/ historic site.

Above all, I love engaging with new places and people - can't wait for the next one!

I'm very much influenced by the travel show 'Lonely Planet Six Degrees', which impressed upon me the notion that the best way to experience a place is through the lens of a local. So whatever you recommend, I'll give it a try - even if you trick me into eating bull testicles like my friend once did.

I served in the army before college - that has shaped a large part of my values and perspectives today.

After completing my bachelor's degree, I backpacked alone in South America for 3 months and thoroughly enjoyed it. I learnt a lot from my hosts and friends I met along the way. Easily the best summer I've ever had!
