One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's too difficult to choose just one. So here's a list of amazing things I've seen and done (so far):
- Backpacking in all countries in Southeast Asia, except East Timor
- Catching rainbows in Gulfoss and swimming in the Blue Lagoon, Iceland
- Camel trekking and sunset watching in Sahara Desert, Morocco
- Visiting the Louvre Museum and climbing the Eiffel Tower in Paris
- Biking and spending winter in Amsterdam
- Living in Brighton, England while finishing my dissertation
- Watching Bjork and Sigur Ros live in concert
- Volunteering in a school in Kathmandu, Nepal
- Backpacking in India for 4 months, starting from the South (Kerala) all the way to the North (Himachal Pradesh)
- Visiting holy sites of Buddhism: Lumbini (Buddha's birthplace), Bodh-Gaya (where Buddha achieved enlightenment), and Sarnath, near Varanasi, (where Buddha delivered his first teaching)
- Attending the teachings of the Dalai Lama at the Main Tibetan Temple in Dharamshala
