About Me

I am an open yet private person.
I value basic thoughtfulness, awareness, authenticity, open minds and hearts.

Depending on the season I can be practical about anything,
I am curious about a lot of things, breadth and depth. People, atoms, mind, governing, time, communication, connections, poly lifestyles, sexuality spectrum, music, sound, bass guitar, drums, weather, organizations. psyche, the incredible body, algorythms, forensics. So yes, I can sit plenty still, do nothing and still get plenty stimulated. And yes, I can also sit plenty still, do nothing and be in nothing.

I love colours, lines, talent, warmth, gentleness, gracefulness, thoughtfulness (did I say that already?!) Things that stimulate my senses, my heart, my sight, the wind in my skin, the timbre of voice that calls my attention.

I love responsive animals- fish and monkeys can be interesting and good fun. Good natured dogs, unbeatable!

I love magic between people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Sometimes I like to meet people from places I have never been to or just arrived at.
CS can be a quick shortcut to people especially during hosting. You cut away the frills quickly.
I love the magic that can happen between amazing peoples!

Interests

  • conscious couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

pop, harmonics, live, specific sounds and rhythm depending on the total sum , deep bass.
Intros that go on for too long lose my attention.
Ambient sounds, rain, thunderstorm.
I like books that offer me insight and understanding to the way things /people are and therefore how to navigate through them. Books are a priviledged private inside conversations with the authors.
I'm a words lover and I love the music of accents!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Couchsurfed before it became vogue and called Couch Surfing. But then they were with friends, and friends of friends. It was through chat rooms then!

Teach, Learn, Share

I like learning in cross spectrum, to understand life and connections around me. Art, life, song, stories., connections

Current energy and time consuming Game : rugby , volleyball

Hobbies: depending on my time and the season, dabbling in filmmaking , flash photography (if you have interesting facial structure, I might ask to take experimental photos how the light hits it, and what i deem the most interesting ones you'll get.) , electronics and coding , drumkit, bass guitar

A guest told me to mention that I'd used logic pro (made 2.5 songs) .
I do life drawing and nude photography. If you're open to being a model, we can go for it. If you wish to be a model for life drawing sessions, I can introduce you to the organizers/artists.

If you can kizomba, bachata, swing, hey let's do some, show me some moves!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could help with little niggly aches and pains, stories for problem solving.

As a Host, since I am mostly hosting :

I will only mainly host in the cooler winter months and then when I can make the time. I may or may not join you on your excursions.

When I host you, I am giving you my attention and my energy. Making space in my physical life for you. Using electricity washing the bedsheets for each guest. For a space of time I hosted, I felt like a laundromat!
I realized with a shock that not all host offer clean sheets or any sheets at all for their couch !!

CS is a place of exchange, whether your pleasant company, your skills, your assistance. Whatever that exchange, let it become a magic chemistry!

I am happy to assist where I can within limits.

I live near the market with the freshest produce and greatest choices if you wanted to make food.

If you can cook, that's a plus for hosting consideration. I tend to make only the simplest and fastest of them. Salads with some cooked protein on top)!

For best experiences with me as a host you'd be:

calm, thoughtful, considerate, self aware
house-trained
toilet-trained (no kidding !)
clean/groomed (sigh I have to add this too? Isn't that a given?)
can be independent exploring on your own
and be ok about food - you eat out, or we make food together

I'll also add this:

I will not hesitate to unhost or dehost if I get the sense of a dodgy slippery character or abuse of CS generosity. I will not swallow 'obligations' if my safety or comfort at home at anytime feels compromised, red flags raised. Opening up my home to a total stranger that decides to get nasty on me for not hosting, that totally validates my intuition not to host, wouldn't you agree? Something wrong, seems a wee bit desperate for and fixated on 'free' accommodation?

Abuse of CS generosity?
When you upset me with an unthoughtful move , do not apologize for it knowing I was very upset and still have the gals to come home the first thing out of your mouth, 'Can I do my laundry now?'
Example beyond the obvious, When you think you can use my place as a free hotel or a storage while you go and do your hookups for the night, not returning till the next day when you come back to retrieve your luggage for the airport. (and you think it's not a problem and adamant that you are still with CS spirit). Pay for a hotel instead .Or go get a storage locker.
Or you are heavy on a date for the evening, come back and then the next morning early breakfast with that same date. What do you take your host for ? Have that guy host you, or go get a hotel.

Solution? Stop hosting? Or Weedout?
