I'm a rookie traveler and have done a few solo trips the last few years. I am a Filipino, currently living and working in the UK (I have also previously worked in Oman for 3 years). I’m actually an introvert— I would just stay quiet and observe people and places or sleep through long journeys unless somebody talks to me. Hahaha. So I hope being here and trying to meet new people would change me somehow.

I am most fascinated by water and anything that has to do with it— beaches, lakes, pools, swimming, boating, waterpark rides, public baths, etc.— but I also love going to mountains, theme parks, gardens and seeing old buildings and architectures. I am not so much into sports and extreme adventures or arts but would love to try anything at least once in my life if I can. Hehe.

I have never hosted and cannot host currently because here in London, I actually have a roommate. Back in Oman, I had my own room in a big villa but also lived next to the home owner who did not allow guests. If I am in my place in the Philippines, I could definitely offer a place to stay but, working overseas at the moment, I do not get the chance to be in my home country a lot. However, at the same time, this is what gives me the opportunity to travel more. Nevertheless, I would be happy to meet up whenever I’m free and could even let you try my homecooked meals if you could visit. Hehe. I may not offer the best-tasting Filipino dishes but not at all bad at it!
