About Me
First things first! Here are important quirks you have to know about us and our home

We don't like one-night surfers. We ignore cold and soulless requests.
Georg and I met through CS so we consider hosting and surfing sacred.
When we host, it's because we want to spend time with you and get to know you.
We treat CSers and visiting friends the same way.
We live in the suburbs of Vienna. It's a quiet area. It's not close to the city center. You'll need half an hour on the tube to get there.
ABOUT ME
I was born on one of the 7,500 islands of the Philippines.
I have a penchant for traveling and drinking.
I love winter. I swear, I may be a Slav or a Nord trapped in a brown body.
I watch a lot of films. I love karaoke.
I am very curious, more curious than a cat.
I'm a carefree creature who enjoys life even if I sometimes see it in gloom (blame it on the hormones)
I can be really lazy but I do enjoy being out in nature; watching the sun rise and set, hiking, camping
Recently started doing archery - running in the forest and shooting at foam animals
Fond of looking out the window, having conversations under the sky, dancing in the rain, walking barefoot (Wait, do I sound like a hippie?)
I'm just a bag of jelly beans; everyone gets a different color, a different flavor ;)
PHILOSOPHY
“We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are.”
― Anaïs Nin
“Chance encounters are what keep us going.”
― Haruki Murakami, Kafka on the Shore

* Hosting countless CS rooftop parties in my hometown
* Couchsurfers turning into family; returning and staying longer than expected - say 2 months
Falling inlove! Can anything be more amazing?!

I now call Vienna home. I have been here for four years, so there is still much to discover. I like to explore the city by going to flea markets and thrift shops that are basically scattered all over Vienna.
The opera is a must-see; Vienna being the centre of classical music.
Standing tickets only cost 3 Euros.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Iloilo, my hometown is not typically touristy. Travelers going to or coming from Boracay, Palawan and Negros usually just pass through.
If you're on a flexi sched, I suggest you stay at least 2 nights and explore the city of love, the nose-shaped city, "La Muy Leal y Noble Ciudad", ILOILO
In the Spanish colonial period, Iloilo was second to the primate city of Manila.
Take a walk around the old city center, Calle Real. Though it's pretty much lined with street vendors now and in quite a shabby state, you will see the city's history written on its walls.
Churches and plazas - every district in and out of the city has them. A must-see is the Jaro Cathedral and Belfry. At the plaza, we can also get a taste of Bingka (rice cake with coconut).
The local cuisine - veggies cooked in coconut milk (pumpkin, bamboo shoots, banana heart, etc), La Paz batchoy (noodle soup with pork entrails), and of course SEAFOOD!
Out of town beach trip, nearest is about an hour away.
Dinagyang Festival in January - cultural event, street dancing, 2 days food and booze fest
