ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small village on the countryside of carinthia in the very south of Austria. After university I moved to Vienna where I lived 3,5 years and worked as an editor and journalist for different print and online magazines (mostly food, lifestyle, fashion topics) as well as for a daily newspaper. Moved to Graz in 2022. Later in 2023/24 I traveled through South East Asia with my partner and moved back to Vienna in 2024. Currently living my passion as a chef.

I'm really excited to be this priviledged to see some of the most interesting places this world has to offer. To dive into new cultures, try food (I´m a real foodie, so this is really a big thing for me) and meeting interesting people who have stories to tell is definitely the reason why I love to travel.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not only to save money but also staying with locals who can tell you much more about a city or a country than any travel guide.

But also if anyone wants to visit my town, I´d give my best to show him or her around or at least give some advices.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The idea of couchsurfing is just so great! Connecting people with common interest to travel. I love hearing stories from travelers and locals, spending some nice time together.

兴趣

I´m really into food - means I love to cook and bake and explore new restaurants and dishes. I did a lot of foodstyling stuff back when I used to work as an editor in Vienna. So if we meet, I bet there´s a lot to talk about this special topic... :)

Books: Used to read nearly everything of Cecelia Ahern (cheesy stuff), a lot of Philosophy (since I studied it a few semesters long), Poetry (Slam)

Music: Swing, 70s Soul and R & B

I could teach you how to cook typical austrian food and dance waltz or lindy hop. Of course there are quite some interesting words and phrases to have to know when you´d like to visit Austria.

It would be great to get to know the country like locals do. Of course I´d do the same for those who´d like to know more about my country and the language (german).
